Raptor, Lips, Hagge question

Hey

I have a set of Raptor cuffs, which are the belgian equivalent of the LIPS or HAGGE ?model C? handcuffs, same manufacturer I guess.

I was wondering is it normal for these cuffs to have a bit of play/tolerance on the hinges?

If it is not clear what I mean and you have LIPS or equivalent cuffs: if you fold them open and hold one of the cuff halves with a firm grip, can you then wobble the other halve in any direction other than the direction of the hinge?

In an attempt to measure, I' ve measured a deflection of about 3°. I am kinda worried since I also have asp tactical hinged cuffs which have no play/tolerance at all at the hinges.

Hi,
This is normal. Raptors are indeed made by Hagge. All my Hagge/Lips cuffs as well as my Raptors have a bit of play.

IT is not normal my lips and hagge have les playroom than THE raptors they are not. coming from THE hagge factory

So if I understand you clearly, you say it is normal for the raptors to have tolerance, but this tolerance is more than the one found on LIPS or Hagge.

They should be from the same manufacturer, since the design is exactly the same and I guess it is a patented design.

Got into contact with the distributor of the Raptors, he says they are from the same manufacturer and play should be the same as in LIPS or others.

No. they are not same like theSpe they came from another factory. And no. The patent is no longer for hagge or lips there is also a handcuffs Mark SHN witch cuffs are almost same like lips or hagge
