#1So I am a props master working on a play and am looking for what would have been used for leg shackles for prisoners in 1948 Louisiana. Any chance one of the members here can point me in the right direction? Much appreciated.

A Chain & Padlocks
British Darby-Style Legirons
Tower (double-lock) Legirons
Bean Legirons or Cobb Legirons
Strauss Legirons
Harvard Legirons

It probably just depended on whatever shackle was available in a particular region/location.
