Great time at Indy

I believe everyone had a great time at Indy. We certainly missed our friends that couldn't make it.
The new hotel was great.

Everyone went home with a cuff or two and there was some really unique restraints on hand. This Adams ball and chain wasn't at the show but was close enough for a short field trip.

The ball weighs 12.7 pounds and the chain is 4 feet long. No stamping on the ball or leg iron. The Tower bottom key handcuff was attached at the ball with a pressed link and I am guessing that it was fro a specific use, maybe a transport.

I have seen advertisements for Tower and Bean ball and chains but never an Adams.

Really great findings Damon! Congratulations!

I especially like the Adams leg iron. Not many of them are out there.

Those of us who are long time collectors often feel collecting is slow and there is nothing
out there. Then it's good see we are wrong; there are obviously still great stuff from time to time.

Another fellow collector added a centerpiece to his collection just a few days ago. Life is good!

The chain is four feet long and there is no swivel. All of the factory made ball and chains that I have seen advertised (and a Bean ball and chain in my collection) have six foot chains and a swivel. It is hard to say if this is a factory piece but the cuff, the ball, and the chain are all of the period.
