Strange AHC A-550

American Handcuffs Company A-550 usually have mirrored cuffs. But in this lot

A-550 have left-left cuffs. No marks that it is home-made rework.

This is rework. Both cuffs have stamped different serials numbers and there is no A-550 model mark. All rivets looks original so it may be factory rework. Anybody know something about this kind of factory rework?
