I don't see how the constant increase in regulations, laws and restrictions will make our lives better, or easier. It might be a matter of time until the possession of handcuffs is generally banned. Look to Australia - mark my words.

The purpose of new laws usually is not to make our lives easier, especially not in Germany; usually more laws lead to more control of the individual and a decrease of personal freedom, bit by bit, step by step...
