They are both from the Earl Lockman collection. The Romer Leg Iron is in excellent condition and frankly one of the best I have ever seen,,much better in person than can be captured in photos. It comes with a key and it is totally complete. This is a stunner! and would be a at or near the center of any handcuff collection

Bean Leg Iron, gimmicked,,,from the collection of Earl Lockman and perhaps aquired from Earl Hickey in the early part of the 1900's. This legiron is in excellent allround condition and when opened discovered that someone (Hickey or Lockman?) had plugged up the holes with appears to be soldering so that they would just pull open unless fully closed at last position, perhaps handled out locked after jail escape? Can you measure the Romer LI from just above the keyhole to the top of the bow? The inside dimension, top to bottom, is what I'm looking for. I got the other Romer Leg iron, which is without a doubt the best I've ever seen. 100% plated, beautiful, and works fantastic. Congrats on your purchases. Hope you're well.

the measurements are:

from the top edge of the keyway to inside edge at top of bow - 3.5"
from the top edge of lock case to inside edge at top of bow - 3 1/8"

i wasnt sure what you meant for mesurements
