Mick and I met at the Cannon Conventions a few years ago.
We had so much in common.
We talked on Facebook over the years and I finally got to visit him at his home and locksmith shop an hour by train north of London.
He invited me to spend a day with him and some of his family. He was a wonderful host.
We spent the day at his house, locksmith shop and all over London.
He took me to his locksmith association headquarters, Abbey Road, Trafalgar Square and so many other places.
I did not know he was sick and am saddened by learning this terrible news.
I will remember him fondly and will certainly miss his friendship.

Really sad to hear the news, I have known Mick for over 25 years and we often worked together opening safes. I knew he had been unwell since the last UKEA meeting that was held in March. He was a dedicated member and everything he took part in was given with great enthusiasm. He was elected an Associate of The Inner Magic Circle in London mainly for the research he did on Houdini and he was instrumental in constructing and advising on the Houdini Display cabinet at The Magic Circle Headquarters in London.
I am pleased that I got to know him both as a colleague and close friend. You will be missed Mick and my thoughts are with your family at this sad time.

I met Mick in 2009. He was such a nice man. He shared lots of ideas and was always willing to help. He will be missed.

It is a loss of a very good man. I had set up Skype, at his request, especially to discuss our research on the Mirror Cuff of which he spent so much time researching, lecturing and creating his version etc. He freely gave his time and knowledge to anyone interested which is commendable and earned him much respect. That is just one example of his interests and knowledge which will be sadly missed. Rest in Peace Mick.

We have been in contact many times over the years. We have two of his Mirror Cuff keys. One is always on display along with his books. He was one of the main people who helped me with my appearance on The Travel Channel's Mysteries At The Museum show about The Mirror Cuffs. Very very sad news.
