Help - Looking for picture of Kayser No. 6 handcuff key

Hello fellow collectors,

enclosed you find a picture of the Kayser No. 6 handcuff which I bougth recently:


Unfortunately it came without a key, so I'd like to try making a working key myself.

My problem starts here:

Looking closer into the key opening, I noticed its fluted shape, so I'm not sure how a working key should look like exactly...

Therefore I'd kindly like to ask if anyone could provide me a picture of a matching key that is detailled enough for making a copy key.

Hello Bjoern,

The key for Kayser nr 5 is made of punched sheet metal and may be hard to reproduce since it is fluted. There are also two versions of keys, left handed and right handed. Unfortunately, I can't say which type your cuffs are. There are also a small difference between the bit pattern of my keys, I can't say why. Hope it will be for some help anyway.
