Cuff Continuity Errors on TV and Film

In this repeat episode of Barney Miller "Ramon", from Jan, 1975, a drug junkie gets arrested and Fish begins to uncuff him at the station. He grabs Fish's gun when his right hand gets free. The unlocked cuff dangles from Ramon's left hand during the armed standoff.
The continuity person on set failed to notice that the cuff is open in one shoot and in the second retake of the same scene, the cuff is now locked. When edited to make the scene complete, the appearance of the cuff in the closed and open state seconds apart makes this scene rather odd.
Most TV shows are filmed twice and the editor combines the shots from both takes to form one. The continuity person is supposed to make sure that drinking glasses are filled to the same level or the clock in the background is always on time. This one got by them.







In this movie "Blades of Glory' from 2007, there is a scene that I can't quite remember but I believe that it was a Canadian Mountie stationed at an ice skating arena when one of the characters eyes the officers cuffs ( which happens to be in an open holster and with the key attached) and makes a grab for them. But I did just now notice that Ramon's jacket is also open and closed between the 2 shots.

No, Same spot.

Just different shots at a slight different angle from one another. The camera was positioned a couple feet away from its original position in each take.
The bulletin board is still visible in each shot.
The top picture shows most of it while the bottom (or photo #2) shows just the bottom corner of it over Ramon's left shoulder.

Just a guess here but top photo Alcyon cuffs or one of the "made by Alcyon" cuffs. Next photo looks like HWC stainless steel cuffs or something similar.
