unique S&W #94

I have a pair of s&w #94 cuffs, with no key. all the other posts i've seen say something about a letter preceeding the serial# The cuffs i have do not have a letter preceeding the serial# just the number 711607
the last number (7) is slighly higher than the rest of the numbers. anybody have any ideas? please email me @ mooredavid@sbcglobal.net

If you look on the bow(the swing through piece) there will be a letter stamped on it. The usual letter code for this model is the letter "A" which is the common one....

That is correct. However, don't confuse that letter (i.e. "A") on the bow with the letter that is sometimes stamped on the cuff's rear lockcase - immediately preceding the serial #. These latter markings indicate that the handcuff is of one of the 8 known restricted key-combination models.
