Hiatts stamping

Hi i have just recived some hiatt chained cuffs blued. I believe they are hiatt 2015. What i would like to know is how come they would not uave a seriel number on. I thought all the hiatt speedcuffs and chain cuffs had numbers on so police and prison services could use them so just wondering if i have a pair that missed the stamp or if they made unstamped cuffs. Some Hiatts cuffs have theirs serials removed (grinded) before they can be sold to non-official customers. Sad but it's the law.

Yeah i know any police ones have to be grinded off in uk but the ones i have do not have a number at all as in they have not been removed.
Also another thing i wanted to know is on hiatt derbys they have hiatt best and warrented wrought. What do these two stampings mean

Not grinded cuffs, and not stamped elsewhere ? Sorry, never seen this on Hiatts. Could they have "civilian" versions, as for some French cuffs (devoid of the "Police" stamping in this case) ?

I have not seen it either and as far as i am aware hiatt stamp them in factory because if you buy nee they will have a number. I was the nking maybe they missed this s pair and let them slip out unstamped.

It depends how they were blued. I believe sometimes the type used on top of already nickel plated could fill in the serial number inadvertently.
