TCH timeline?

Does anyone have the timeline for the UK brand TCH? I mean, when TCH started, when TCH began replacing Hiatt as the UK police standard gear and when the TCH model 840 became the standard brand and model that police use these days?

Also as a side-related note, when did Hiatt first see their speedcuff become the standard handcuff for UK police?
