keys for handcuffs in the Zearings, Benson, AZ being auctioned

Hi,

I am not a collector, but very vividly remember the handcuff collection at Zearings in Benson AZ. Looks like maybe a member of this group got them? I am just an appreciator of collections in general, and notice they are auctioning off the contents of the old store on 10-15-2016. One of the listings is a box of old handcuff keys! Thought maybe I could help match the keys with the buyer of the collection they had there. Hope this works as a link and even gets posted at all:

Hi Tawni,

Thanks for the information. I am the person who bought the handcuff collection. I was also told that the keys were there but we could not find them at the time and they would send them to me as part of the purchase. It looks like they have not kept their word on that part of the sale. However, looking at the keys offered they do not represent the bulk of the collection, so many are missing or never existed.

Most of the collection has been resold to other collectors and I have kept several for my collection. There are only a few common cuff that I have not sold.

It looks like they did take my suggestion to hire an auction company to sell the store contents. It is too bad they waited so long since prices, especially handcuff prices have dropped over the past several years.
