I posted this over on the glocktalk forum and it was suggested I ask here also. My younger brother passed away this past April from cancer. I've been going through his things bit by bit and I came across this set of cuffs. He worked armed security for a while and was required to carry them, though I doubt he ever needed to use them. They are Peerless M-400 cuffs with a Bianchi 35 cuff case. I did a quick internet search and found prices ranging from $50 all the way to north of $300. (collector value?) I know nothing about cuffs

They are in great condition. Realistically what are they worth? What would a fair asking price be? (as they have no sentimental value)

I bought a pair of that model for $12 inc shipping and handling. One key was bigger then the otter. Both cuffs close securely but one cuff has too much play in the boss rivet and can let one cuff pull open if you pull hard. I will give them to my 16 year old daughter. She's at that experimental stage.

With that high of a S/N, you don't have to worry about having a "collectors" pair on your hands ..... ( pardon pun please )

I've bought a great shape M-400 model a few years ago for $50. 25,000 range serial number. They're a good cuff my opinion. Possibly worth $100-200? I imagine its market value at this point being 20 yrs since produced for only a year or so and they're likely replaced when the model 500's came out shortly thereafter, then the 700 series proceeded
Last year I've managed to acquire a new smith & wesson M-200 hinged model that lasted less than a year in production in 1990 and were replaced with the M300 immediately after. They're hard after since they're were replaced fairly quickly

Joe, the wife of the inventor has 100 pair that might come up for sale in the next year. That model is now kind of worthless M400
