I have in mi collection this Hiattr adjustable handcuffs from JAR. Can anybody help with stamping on it? I think it is very interesting.....

#2OK, I don't know what you mean by JAR, but it looks like an H a Broad Arrow and a chinese letter. Maybe Hong Kong Police. But I could be completely wrong.

I am sorry. I did not know how does it say in English. I mean SAP. South African police. I take it from Johannesburg.

If they were SAP they should say SAP without the arrow.
If they have an arrow they would also have a U for Union of South Africa pre 1950ish.
So I will stick with my first guess.
