DIFFERNCES BETWEEN SAF LOK MARK-1 AND MARK-4 CUFFS

Does anybody know what the differences--improvements are between the SAF LOK Mark-1 annd the SAF LOK Mark-4 handcuffs are??

The only real difference is an additional pin tumbler on the deadlock position side. by looking up into the underneath of the lock ( where the bow would be when the cuff is closed) The first MKI had two tumblers ( the chamber holes plugged with small steel balls) The MKIV has three. Other differences can be noted on various models but all are just comestic changes> These maybe due to patterns and moulds wearing out and being replaced. Chain styles are the most common and even through different changes the MKI and MKIV have always had the model number embossed on the bow.
