W.F Darbys - on Ebay also

Hi All,

I was wondering if anyone knows the manufacturer of W.F darby handcuffs? I have an identical pair that I bought about 10yrs ago from an estate sale. The daughter of the deceased told me they were from a Wells Fargo & Company stagecoach constable. I don't know if that was urban legend or not, but haven't really found anything on the W.F darby's. Anyway, here's a pair currently on Ebay.

They are English. Wells Fargo were not handcuff manufacturers. Interesting sales pitch though.
