There appears to be a similar pic in the handcuff gallery on the main page of www.handcuffs.org . They are listed as "German Adjustable of Unknown Origin." I dont think much is known about these?

I have a very similar piece, that I bought from France. So I always believed taht they are French origin.

I have a long-chain version of these. No markings. They were sold to me as 'Clejuso or Keyser, German handcuffs, pre-WW2'.
