Good luck, as I believe that they're only sold to authorized law enforcement agencies. Especially true if you live in the land "Down Under" ............

A few years ago, the Handcuffwarehouse sold them in US without restrictions. So not everything is so bad

Yes, Handcuff Warehouse did sell Saf Loks in the US, but that was several years ago! Unless you have a time machine, or can find a private owner who is willing to part with a pair, you're out of luck friend ...........

I have seen some auctions for MkIV these last months, so with a bit of patience...

For instance, Tower SL handcuffs are not in production more than 100 year. But if you want to buy them you do not need a time machine or good friend. Ebay can solve problem, but not quickly.

What do Tower SL handcuffs have to do with Saf Lok mk5's? Let me "paint you a billboard": The Australian producer of Saf Lok mk5's WILL NOT SELL THEM TO A PRIVATE INDIVIDUAL, UNLESS THEY ARE A CERTIFIED LAW ENFORCEMENT PROFESSIONAL, PERIOD!!! THEY PREFER DOING BUSINESS WITH POLICE AGENCIES ONLY!!!

That should be understood by almost everyone ........ unless they can barely read something written in the English language!

After a bit of reaserch , Mk 5 cuffs are available to law inforcement and security personnel only , depending on which state you reside in ( Australia ) where about are you located Paul ?

Hi Adrian, I'm in a State that allows collecting handcuffs. If you can get them locally, do so, it will be cheaper. I've had an offer on the cuffs but if you leave your details or Australian phone number I'll get back to you. I prefer to know who I'm dealing with.

To Anon: which law obliges globally to buy MK5 only and exclusively from the distributor? Link please. Which law prohibit a redistribution of MK5 outside Australia? Link please.

Maybe a law is not necessary, it could be simply a request of the factory ?

More, the Saf-Lok are always made in Australia but ADI/Lithgow small arms is now owned by Thales (Australia).

I'll the next person in the line to buy a pair of them. I've been reading and I've gotten fu....cking crazy. They're only handcuffs. It's not a weapon of a mass destruction. Yes, we have some weird stuff in the USA, but not too far out of the rails. Hopefully someone will figure the Way out.

Hello does anyone have mk5 handcuffs for sale in Australia been looking for a pair for ages even mk4 but since Australia has really strick handcuff laws it makes it hard.
Is there any way too buy them with out being in law enforcement. Like a permit or something
