I noticed some smaller holes, randomly drilled into the arms of your irons. Im curious as to why they would have taken the time to drill holes into them, that they werent going to use for anything? There had to be a purpose for those? Pretty cool iron, though! A bit of overkill, but you can see how they would have gotten their point across! LOL!

The tongue for the padlock looks to be electrically welded on and it does not penetrate the bar. They are black but not pitted as you'd expect. Holes for screws and wire are for a displaying on a wall.

these are modern (ish) blacksmithed but very crude. The keys suit an Indian made lock which was probably on the cuff.
