Huge change coming to the forum

The network54 site has been sold. So a huge change to the forum is coming soon.
I do not know much about it, but it could happen very soon.

can it be saved and put onto DVD's, hardrive etc ( I am not computer literate to know what exactly) It would be shame to let the best bits be lost to history. A hard copy of the cuff histories and photos would be good. all the forum stuff and annony shit could go without much loss for the world.

It is possible but not very searchable afterwards. I had done that a while back after imageshack or who ever it was made that change and all the images here vanished. I was able to do some jiggery pokery and get all the images back for him from and offline backup. Then I made the images accessible to Joseph. But I do not any longer have any of that.

If someone else wants to experiment doing it, this is the software I usedhttps://www.httrack.com/ but it would be too complicated to explain how to get the imageshack images which is why I already did all the work to get all those images for him and create a method for manually finding and replacing them one at a time, which is the best I could do at the time.

Everything is supposed to be preserved. It is just the format that will change.

Tapatalk should be a major improvement to network54 groups, especially when it comes to posting photos and other files, and editing a post after it's been posted, so you can correct omissions and typos!

It would be great to see them institute some way of making everyone log in before posting. Put an end to all of the "anon" nonsense. Just my 2 cents...

I'm disappointed in the result of the migration of old to this..?  I was hoping it was going to be just a "crosswalk" with slight changes, but resemble the previous environment.  Developers need to head back into the war room and hammer this out...

Ok, here goes --->>>>>>> To search on a Tapatalk forum, scroll to the VERY TOP of ANY forum page. On the far left hand corner it will say: Handcuffs Forum. Look to the far right corner, where you will see a "crescent" shape, a small clusters of boxes, Register button, and Login button. Click on the "crescent" shape, and you will be taken to the search feature.

Duh, this isn't the first time I've answered a question for a Tapatalk forum member asking where the search function is! And I see that YOU really went out of your way to help the user on this forum who was having problems! Try spending the day working with computer "newbies" like I do, and you'll learn that for some people, you have to be very explicit in your explanation(s) or they are totally lost ...........

which is why I helped with accurate information and not guessing a name for something. 

Quick note:  Where I had stated a "crescent" on the upper right, should be magnifying glass!  My bad, because I use Firefox combined with an add-on called NoScript.  I disallowed Tapatalk Java scripts thru the NoScript add-on, which caused the magnifying glass icon not to display properly until I allowed NoScript to execute Tapatalk scripts .......

well for a computer nut, you should have known better. LMAO
