I don't usually ask for opinions about the autheticity of an item. I just bought 6273529717 on ebay. Now I'm wondering why it sold so cheap. I don't like the way the cuffs attach to the belt, but Joe Lauher's Baker belt uses the same method. The Belt includes Hiatt cuffs and end lock and keys. I won't know til I get it if the belt is marked. I'm also wondering what the leather pouch on the back is for. Any comments are appreciated, even if not good news.

The cuff on the left side of the picture seems to be attached with a non-original link.

The cuff on the right is attached with the same type of clevis. The cuffs on Joe Lauher's Baker belt appear to use the same type of clevis. Has anyone seen other belts using this attachment method?

Glad to see you got it cheap. I figured it would go much higher and did not bid because I thought I had spent enough money lately.

I have two belts and in both cases the attachment of the cuffs looks like a bit of an after thought. So I think yours is just typical of the way they were made.

I've also spent more than enough money on cuffs lately, but threw in a last minute bid when I saw how cheap it was, and none of the big boys were bidding. ( Mark Lyons must be sick.) Is there a metal liner inside your belts? I don't know if this one has it or not.

Both of my belts have metal liners.
They are quite heavy.
