Mirror Handcuffs to be displayed in New York

The legendary Mirror Handcuffs will be part of a display of original Houdini artifacts at the New-York Historical Society's Summer of Magic: Treasures from the David Copperfield Collection exhibition, June 15 to Sept 16, 2018. This is the first time the Mirror cuffs have been made available to view by the public in some 20 years!

Great news. I can't wait till June to see them in person.

I am really looking forward to this exhibit.  John Cox is giving a lecture on the evening of Friday the 13th of July to kick off what the museum is calling "Houdini Weekend".  You need a ticket, but they are free on the museum's web site.  It should be great fun.

Looking forward to my trip to the New York Historical Society on Friday to see the Mirror handcuffs and other items from the Copperfield collection.
Our friend John Cox (of Wild About Houdini fame) is giving a talk on ""Houdini in New York" at 7:00pm followed by a screening of the PBS documentary, Houdini (2000).
