Hi, I have a great great uncle who was a detective at Scotland Yard. I have his Hiatt handcuffs (unfortunately chromed) but no key. Key hole is a bit over 5/16 diameter. Its the type where the key is a hollow tube with a thread inside. You wind the key onto the thread inside the key hole.

Any chance your keys might fit and are some for sale?

These keys are not the ones you need the ones you require would come up under the name darby handcuff key. Some were for sale the other day on the bay

Just for reference, the keys shown will fit this style of cuffs. The Hiatt 1960. Standard or the heavier prison model.

Anyone got any 1960s Hiatt keys please, have the ratchet handcuffs but no keys, require two of if anyone can help
