Tower cuffs

I know that the Tower cuff is not a rare item...by a long shot. But I'd like to know how much I should pay for a set in over all nice condition, in good working order with the original key.

And...would anyone here have one for trade ?

Rick, when buying vintage cuffs, locks, or related restraints, the general rule of thumb that I live by is: Get the best deal you can, but let your heart be your price guide. I don't care if an item is worth $400. and the guy will give it to me for $100., if I do not like the piece, it is not worth the time to even barter with him. On the other hand, if I really like a certin piece and it is worth say, $45. and the guy will not take less than $90., then I have to determine if it is worth $90. to me. If it is, then that piece will become mine regardless. Long answer aye...now for the short answer....I wouldn't pay more than $100. for any run-of-the-mill Towers cuffs. Unless they are something special, in brand new condition, or if I fall in love with them....in that case, see my general rule of thumb above. Towers are common enough that you don't have to buy the first pair that comes along. If I were you, I would shop around on ebay for a while, have a price limit in mind, bid on ones that you like, and wait. Your pair will find you. Happy hunting Rick! Mike
