H&R Model 123 Super handcuffs

Hello all - just joined and have a question: I have a nicely worn (patina'd) set of Harrington & Richards handcuffs, #123. Underneath the normal Manufacturer's name and place, I have "Pat. Pending" instead of the usual patent number as all the others I've seen. Does this mean that it's a very early 1934 manufacture?
