Clejuso model 13 & 15 picking

Any good pointer for picking these dam things? Im no master lock picker so if you guys can give some advice on what you use or know what works to pick these it would be great. My flat wire pick i use for standard cuffs doesnt seem to even move the double lock. Again. Any help would be appreciated

I have the model 13 "medium weight" version of the Clejuso cuffs. I have never even contemplated picking them; they give off a very intimidating and secure impression, for sure. The key looks like a large version of a regular universal key, with a small indent in the middle of the key flag. I believe the 15's have the same key?
The double lock gives a firm and positive closure. Very secure cuffs, or so it would seem. I've not gotten much into lock picking though I have considered trying it out more. I have successfully shimmed and picked regular S&W and Peerless swing through cuffs, though, and that was rewarding.
What else have you been picking?

Same here, just the regular smiths and peerless cuffs. I find the flat hair pins to work the best on those cuffs but theses big cuffs i just cant find anything to even move the double lock. Anything big enough to not bend seems to not fit in the key way.The main issue for me, is how deep the key hole is. The standard cuffs are really easy to pick from the key way but man these clejuso are just built like a tank. From what i can tell the small groove in the key for both models really does nothing. They seem to be for looks. It was more of a curiosity to try and pick them but has now taken on a " im gonna show you" kind of vibe." Hahaha.

Yes, I remember noticing that the key does need to go far into the lock on these large cuffs. The cuffs are serious. I had assumed the small grove in the key was required to bypass a matching 'gate' (unsure of locksmithing terminology) that would foil a tool without that shape.  It is an interesting challenge. I haven't had much luck with the hairpins, but rather used a short piece of stiff steel wire. I imagined I was in an action movie and had to pick the cuff to escape the bad guys, and voila they opened.

I am not a lockpicker...but...maybe some "insight" can help.

Thats very cool man. Thanks for the links. It looks like a simple design but no wonder my small picks keep bending. The guts are HUUUUGGGEE. :)

@harry_tasker. Ment to ask, are those your pics? What did it take to open those cuffs if so? I would assume just drill the rivets.

Didn't take anything to open the cuffs...I ordered them not riveted shut.

Had a work related accident today.Will be visiting a hospital tomorrow.
Probably will have surgery.
Said to take me like a week in hospital.
Plus more days later at home for recovery.
I am only available quite limited and for sure cannot send any prices let alone goods.

Man sounds like you got hurt bad. I have had 5 back surgeries in my life so far. Each have been fewer and fewer day i stayed in the Hospital Hopefully it wont be as long as you think. Hospitals are the worst to be

Hurt bad...yea...well...at least no or only a bit "rest pain".
Things change of course when I move the leg.

Maybe they have a nice nurse. Could try to be a bit unruly. Maybe they use Segufix.

what is the whole story in context?

There is a guy by the name of Deviant from the TOOOL group. I have seen on one of his talks, perhaps regarding the ultimate handcuff key or a different talk from Ray on Advanced Handcuff Hacking or something and I saw one of those beefy Clejuso cuffs picked with what looked like it may have been a warded padlock pick or something. Just a bit of metal with an L shape at the end. I bet you could do it with a bobby pin (hair grip) but due to the increased depth, you may have to use pliers to bend it in such a way that the whole thing remains flat, which is a bit difficult to bend it that way, so it looks like a christmas candy cane only L shaped rather than hook shaped. You would need the ability to put more force into it I would imagine. I only have a pair of their regular cuffs which, incidentally, are thinner than regular cuffs and I have several handcuff keys that get jammed when I try to use them in my pair of Clejuso since the thickness of the cuffs is less than usual. The TOOOL Ultimate handcuff key fits perfectly though.
