Brass La Policiere

Just when you have a cuff to trade, you discover that the trader is a bit different from your existing cuff and now you want to keep both.

The swivel is heavier in the top one.
Is it enough of a variation to call them different types?
Have we ever figured out if these are from Belgium or France yet?
These was a discussion with resulting confusion about their place of origin in the years past.

That is enough of a difference to be a variation, in my eyes. I would keep both as well.

frankly, IMHO just a different swivel does not make a real variation. I would keep only one.

I certainly agree to Guenter, the difference is just too small to consider them different versions. One day we hoppfully will find the brass version with slanted key holes, as on the aluminum version. Until the, the “La Policere” is only known in three versions.
