Wow, are they light. I had read they only weigh 5 ounces but man, when you pick them up its a shock. I thought there was no way they would still be secure being so lite but they seem to resist bending and pulling in every way there steel counter parts do. They can be back loaded so thats a nice touch. I can definitely see the appeal to have these vs steel if your carrying them on a belt. They have some sharp edges so not as comfortable to wear as others but again, the less weight is nice for long term wear. Only time will tell how they hold up but im very happy with the fit and finish so far. Go get you a pair. :)

Otherwise, I only know ASP aluminium cuffs and I hope to find these model too.

Why Smith & Wesson don't produce a new light cuff too :-( ?
Wow that is lite. Smith and wesson doesnt want to produce anything new it seems. The past few "new" S&W cuffs i have bought have shown a lack in quilty as well.
When attending the SHOT Show this past January, I visited Peter & Chris Gill at the Peerless Booth.
I was surprised, when Peter handed me a pair of 730C handcuffs, and told me, they made a couple of test colors and this was one of the colors.
He said they only made 10 each of the test colors.
Placing them on my digital scale, they weigh 5.15 ounces. Their website advertises them as weighing 5.2 ounces.
The out of production S&W Model 925 Aluminum cuffs weighed 3.78 ounces.
