I just bought a pair of bonowi hinged handcuffs but i cant find any information about this pair of handcuffs. Any of you know year model and some extra info about it?

#3Bonowi and Ralkem have worked together on a rigid cuff project using these cuffs. I would suspect that they are made by Ralkem, but marked as Bonowi. This is a pic of the piece that Bonowi sells to turn these into rigid cuffs.

#5Correct. Its as I said. Probably made by Ralkem. We can 99% say that they are. But, they were labeled as Bonowi. More than likely, they were done like that to sell them with the rigid cuff adapter plates. But, they are of Czech design. Not German.

Hi there,
this model is called "BONOWI Handfessel, Modell 2000". It's supposably been manufactured by ZH BREN Brno/Alfa Proj.
According to the Internet Wayback Machine it was available from 18 Jan 2001 on Bonowi's homepage:

The plated rigid cuff is a separate model called "BONOWI Handfessel Rapidcuff"

#9Alfa Proj, Ralkem, Bren are all the same company. Just different names. All made in Czech Republic. Here is a link to the rigid rapidcuff. If you translate, it says the cuffs used are Ralkem, marked as Bonowi. On a side note: does anyone know where to get one of these Bonowi Rapidcuffs at? I have tried all over and anyone who carries them, will not sell to the general public. I have had no luck, tracking one down to purchase.

#13Hard to say what the actual value of them is? I have not seen another go through a sale site, except for the new ones, i posted about on here. So, It appears that are still made and sold. Value would be be, really, whatever someone is willing to pay for them? You are in them cheap enough. You could probably double your money if they were marketed correctly and to the right audience?

Yes, this is a reliable site. It opens up on my browser, through my Anti-Virus Program and has no warnings or issues. I have never ordered from this site, so I cannot say if they are a good company to deal with or not? I can only say that their website is safe and a legitimate business page.
