Nice of Richard to let these go to you.
These are the 1st version of the Model 100 PAT'S PENDING.
The 2nd version had the double lock slot on both front & back sides of the cuffs.
 

Yeah, now i need to find the second version of m100 pats. If you have any pair for sale dave, i would like to buy them :)

From 1952 to 1979 you will be looking for:

2011 to Present
These are when S&W changed their manufacturing process from the brazing process to the rivet method.
All these handcuffs are the "-1" series, i.e. 100-1, 103-1, 104-1, 300-1, 110-1, 1800-1, and so on.
I added a not advertised orange & black pair of 100-1 Weather Shield to my collection. Maybe other non-advertised colors out there.

This is just a general identification not including all the variations. Have fun hunting & let us know what you find.
