Sw m-104 question???

Any of you guys can explain this pair of sw m-104? They have oversized rivet but they are not a m-104-1....

All M-104 cuffs used the oversized rivets. It was an added security feature to beef up their overall strength. Even though, other smith cuffs of that era, did not use the same rivets. If you would purchase David's two books on computer flash drive, this is all explained in there. You have an interest in S&W products. His two books delve into Smith and Wesson's affiliation with Peerless and what Smith and Wesson produced after 1952. Two great reads. Packed full of both companies history. You will not be disappointed!

S&W Model 103 Stainless Steel & Model 104 Maximum Security Handcuffs both have always had the rivets added.
