Bean Cobb Lock Parts

Does anyone have a Bean Cobb lock that has been gutted out or taken out of a completely rusted cuff that was no use? I need two of the spring loaded locking teeth that are circled in the pic. Pic stolen from Ryan on an older post. Im fixing a set of Leg Irons and have 2 broken springs. Sure, i could put one broken spring on each cuff and have a semi-working set...but what would the fun be in that? LOL! Hoping someone has a few spare parts they would like to sell to me? Im pretty sure the locks are the same size as the handcuff locks, so hoping they will have interchangeable pieces. Thank you!

The pawls are interchangable, I will looks thru my stuff

I have repaired one using the leaf spring from the scissors in a very small Swiss Army knife.  The spring is about the right size and can be made to work.

I thought that first photo of the disassembled lock parts looked familiar!  I'm glad you could reference it; while most of my posts are simple photos of my collection comparing and sharing my observations, that post was different in that I learned and fixed the lock along the way.

I hope you can find some spare parts, or, lacking that, make a replacement of your own.  I have added the Bean Cobb leg irons to my collection and they are among my favorites for the aesthetic as well as the clockwork like lock mechanism. I do wonder though why they don't have a swivel, as the handcuffs have a clever built in swivel as part of the clevis.

I do still have another part or two of my series, but I've been a bit busy and forgetful as of late! I've noticed there hasn't been much on eBay recently; I am almost calling my collection complete, but always on the look out for the piece that catches my attention.

I had a set but no longer do and the cuffs key would not fit the leg irons. the leg irons key and key hole was bigger ,I am not sure if insides were different size cause I never took the leg irons locks open !
