I have a Lilly leg iron and a Lilly handcuff and my question is in how many different sizes were these irons made. I’m thinking that there are at least two and possibly three between these two. Maybe Ron could weigh in on this topic.
Incidentally the key shown is not original to the cuffs but was crafted by Ian McColl.

#2May I ask several Lilly cuff owners to run a Vernier caliper over the diameter of their keys (millimeters preferred) as there seems to be some significant differences in the internal diameter of the lock tube, this may be due to the cuff being hand crafted or a sign of different makers.

The "standard size" for the length of chain was five links. In the Lilly Research, we found reference to them by one of the Lincoln Conspirators. As a reminder, there is a lot of information on the
