What handcuffs have single chain or o-ring links?

I am looking for chain handcuffs with a single chain link or o-ring link.

I like the design of CTS Trimax chain cuffs but like many other models they are prone to chain binding fatigue.

CTS does make an oversized model but they are probably impractical to carry around. I did reach out to CTS awhile ago and spoke with someone in sales but he didn't care about the chain binding vulnerability.

I told him to suggest a product alternative where the standard sized cuffs would be made with the same o-ring link as the oversized model.

Anyway has anyone thought about modifying their favorite pair of chain cuffs down to a single link or replacing the chain with a single o-ring? I would guess you would compromise strength doing this because what metal service could achieve the results of these manufacturers with basic welding techniques and available hardware?

Any ideas besides suggesting hinged or straight bar?

As far as modern cuffs that have a single O type ring or something to help against chain binding, there are a few that come to mind.  The Bonowi Cuffs from Germany have links that are round. Ralkem's Alfa Project cuffs have the models 9921 and 9924 which both have single links separating them.  The French Rovolier have rounded links. Although i read somewhere on the board here that one of our members was able to get the two round links to bind up. He didnt snap the cuffs on purpose, but felt that the links were bound up sufficient enough to cause a chain failure. These are the cuffs that are currently available that fit the criteria, i believe. Also, if you search the forums pages with the search feature...using terms like Chain bind or chain binding, will net many results of previous discussions that we have had along with this topic.
