Teeth on the inside of the bow.

Came across a picture of handcuffs with teeth on the inside.

Thats got to hurt if put on too tight.  Sort of like the ACE model 2 thumb cuffs.

Interesting cuff. I think, it was modified by someone. The cuffs themselves look like maybe a Peerless 700 series cuff? I cant see the key hole, so it only a guess. But, it is a modern built cuff. Somebody swapped out the chain for a single ring. I think someone took a saw blade or a dremel wheel and added the teeth to the jaws of the cuffs. For what reason? That would be anyone's guess. Now, there was a spiked leg shackle that sold on Ebay about 6 months or so, ago. It was an older piece and looked to be made surely for torture. My friend, Aaron Firth ended up winning the bid and it now stays in his collection over in the U.K. Aaron runs the "D.R.M." The Doncaster Restraint Museum. He has people come through and try out different cuffs while sharing stories and the history of restraints with people. This leg iron is one piece you may not want to try on, in the tour. It just looks brutal!

Here is a picture of thumbcuffs that are illegal to possess in Canada, I think. Ordinary thumbcuffs with just one row of teeth are OK.

Is this like the Ace Model 2?
