International Parcels are not moving

If you are plan purchasing from another country or overseas, be aware that planes are not flying and parcels are not being delivered. Check the services from those counties. In particular I am mentioning parcels out of Australia. Paul

I found out today that Australia Post is not sending parcels classed as 'envelopes' which were inexpensive to send but now only offer the class , 'parcels' which have jumped to 3 to 4 times in price. 
Profiting from the pandemic. 

I have been told that a package I want to send to Belgium will not be delivered, will sit in an office for a long time and will most likely be returned back to me.
Many packages are put aboard passenger planes to send U.S. mail about and with a great reduction of these flights, I can see how things can get more expensive.
Just like the cost of fuel, when the crisis is over, the high prices remain.

I purchased a nice cuff on England Ebay in late February.  It was sent by Roal Mail Registered.  It past through New York Customs on 1 March which was the last tracking scan.   Today I started the process of package not received after 40 days.  Another test of the Ebay system guarantee.

I am in Vancouver Canada. I get lots of packages from USA. Things are a bit slow while moving in the USA compared to my usual Amazon purchases, but once they hit Toronto or Vancouver, everything is normal. It takes about three days to get from Toronto to Vancouver. The US postal service is totally integrated with the Canadian system.

Only parcels to the USA, no smaller shipments.
No Japan.
No Australia.
Shipments within Europe in general are OK to ship.

Australia doesn't seem to be sending to any where.
