Cuff of the Day for May 25. US Nippers - Not on the Patent List

Nipper Madness Begins.   A series of days devoted to nippers, grips and come-alongs.   
24th Sunday - The US Patent List.  How many can we find?
25th Monday -  US Nippers - Not on the patent list, odd balls and copies.
26th Tuesday - British Nippers
27th Wednesday -  Nippers from Europe and the Rest of the World

Over the next few days I would like to explore nippers, grips and come-alongs.   

Please continue to add to the May 24 Patent list stream.  I know there are examples not yet posted.   Look at your chain nippers for example.
Today we look at US nippers that were never patented or are obvious copies or odd balls.

I will start with the Viking Pistol Grip Nipper

An unknown nipper that locks with a key.  The key serves as a double lock.   The button at the top of the lock case
will release the cuff unless it is locked with the key.

I think the only Nipper I have the is made in the U.S. and is not on the Patent list is the Ott Nipper. Of course, it is a variation of the design used by Clejuso, Hiatt and many other companies.
