Cuff of the Day June 5, 2020 Hinged Cuffs

Lets do hinged cuffs for today. I will start off with a few American Handcuff Co designs I have. First is the aluminum A-550. Very light weight. One of the more difficult A.H.C. cuffs to find.
The N-400 Hinged cuffs.  N stands for "Nickel." These have a unique 3 pin hinge design. They allow for some movement that standard hinged cuffs do not allow. Rounded edges. These cuffs are pretty comfortable, compared to other American made hinged cuffs.

The N-500 Hinged cuffs. Just a tiny bit smaller than the N-400 model. This model also changed the 3 center pins to standard bars, like other hinged cuffs. Very well made with nice rounded edges.

The last design, hinged cuffs, that I have for A.H.C. is the N-550. The same cuff as the A-550, but they are Nickel, instead of aluminum. Design wise, they look the same as the A-550, just a bit heavier.

Here is a hinged cuff from South Africa. I do not know who the manufacture for these would have been? The construction is this cuff and workmanship is rough.

A couple of German hinged cuffs from Clejuso. The No. 19R Stainless Steel hinged cuffs.
And the No. 119SH High Security Hinged Cuffs. -Richard Knip-

Bomisa hinged cuff from Italy.

Here are some hinged German handcuffs. The first is belived to be East German. These are extremely heavy (1220 g) and they are non-swing around.
They take the same key as the aluminium East German handcuffs and they double lock by turning the key.

Hiatt 2050.
A pretty common cuff but i thought it was worth putting for documentation or historical purposes. These cuff of the day have been such a good idea. We have had more activity on here than i have seen in years (thats been great) and because of the wealth of info and pictures people have provided (must be more than the handcuff index on the main page by now) its going to be a very good reference to anyone who needs to use it.

Bonowi Smartlock hinged handcuffs are extraordinarily heavy duty. 
The locks employ 3 independent pawls separated by 2 anti-shim bars and open with a unique triple bit key.

ASP Ultra Hinged Handcuffs with Steel Swinging Bows.
Ultra hinged handcuffs are made with a forged aluminum external frame.

Great additions to the list, everyone! Thank you! I will keep going down my collection list. Next one listed is a Chinese made cuff from a company named, Blueline. These are just a bit bigger than a standard hinged cuff. Overall, they are decently made, but are not the high quality of some of their American Counterparts. I bought these new, many years ago, from Handcuff Warehouse.
Looking at this set, one may think of the Hiatt HSS-09 High Security Cuff. But this one is a Chinese knock-off that was sold under the company name, Cerberus. Not the same quality as the Hiatt cuff that looks similar in design. The double lock is activated using the key in the tube that sits below each cuff body. Another Chinese Knock-off cuff. Not very high quality. The name of the manufacturer eludes me, but their logo is the letters "JF" printed over the image of a globe of the world.

I will add in the 3 version of the GDR cuffs I have from East Germany and the Cable connected GDR Leg Irons. The Prison version is a more robust, non swing-thru, design. -Richard Knip-
