need information on this small horde of restraints prior to me listing on Ebay

2 handcuffs (can't find makers mark any idea)
1 set of leg restraints with key (can't find makers mark any idea)
1 chain with t handles ( I think this is called a come along?)
information need is approx age/value

I've never seen Rankin leg irons in that kind of condition, might be a Repop I dont know. They look to good to be true, but I've never owned a rankin of anykind.

I have a pair of leg irons that are exactly the same as the Rankins in the picture. I thought, by looking at pictures, that I had Lilly leg irons. Is there a connection between Lilly and Rankin?

I did the above post and went looking at different sites for pictures of Lilly leg irons. The chain on mine is like the chain in the picture with them labelled as Rankins. Many of the Lilly's have more links and are smaller.

The leg irons pictured in this post are Lilly, not Rankin.

I don’t think you will find any branding or other markings on those Lilly irons, almost without exception they are unmarked.

Using pictures from this very site, on the title page there is a directory for different restraints, The first pic is a Lilly Leg Iron and the second is a Rankin Leg Iron. Yours are definitely a Lilly Leg Iron. Its really in nice shape, so i think it would pull a pretty decent price.  The third pic is a pair, of Lilly Leg Irons, that was recently sold thru a FaceBook page for collectors. This particular cuff, in a rougher state than yours, pulled in $350 plus shipping. Yours should sell for higher than that, considering their condition.

True words.   Yes, I blew it and did put down the leg iron name that popped in my mind without giving it any thought.
I own many Rankins and Lillys and certainly can tell the difference between them but sometimes annoying little gnats buzz around and make negative comments when they have the need to feel superior.
Fly swatters are good for taking care of this.
99.99% of the people here are eager to share and learn and have positive and mature attitudes.  The .01% should fly away and find a morsel of manure to feast on.
