I like the Mr. Haney introduction, Arioch.
I don't know the story behind 99% of my cuffs.
The documented Houdini cuffs speak for themselves and I have handled the Rodney King Handcuffs but the only "Bad Guy" handcuffs that I own and can document are these cuffs that the family sold to me.
Their father/grandfather almost singlehandedly captured and arrested many of the Shankill Butchers.   (A snippet of a song that was recorded about them  (https://genius.com/The-decemberists-sha ... ers-lyrics)
The family sent pics of George M. Walton and letters describing his bravery and tenacity while bringing these throat slashing barbarians to justice.  Some pics of his medals from the Queen were also included in my purchase.

Way to go Arioch with those leg irons. I read a lot about the Old West and trying to prove the provenance of old firearms as to who may have owned them is extremely difficult and they have serial numbers so the challenge is far greater with restraints.
