By the way, does anyone know what kind of handcuffs are made in the states of the former USSR except Russia and Ukraine?

Here is a sampling of some of my cuffs from Russia/Ukraine.
Finding info about the manufacturers from this area of the world is VERY difficult.
I wrote what I could find in an article which was published in Joe's Handcuff Annual.

Just about all examples are made a bit on the crude side and I have never seen nor heard of leg irons of any kind. The most recently made cuffs are of much better quality than those made even 15 or 20 years ago.
All keys have been flat or crudely made. The exception to this are the most up to date cuffs. I have never seen a cuff with any sort of a precision lock or key.
The closest I have seen are the screw key cuffs that work by inserting the screw key in and after turning it a few revolutions, the key is able to pull out, releasing the ratchet. (1st pic)

Apparently leg irons exist in Russia. But they are a very rare thing.

Russian police equipment factory NPOSM reports restrain with large cuffs with opening 70 and 80 mm (size 3 and size 4 ) with long chain but nobody saw them in steel
