Palmer key thread size

I think this may have been discussed in the past, but does anyone know the thread size for a Palmer key. I need to make one, but can't recall the size?

Hello---

If you're speaking about the Threaded Key....I recently needed a replacement for my pair.

I simply located an "8 3/2" machine screw....and it works perfectly.

Joe, who made the brass key?  I like that.
I have seen Ian's keys before and if memory serves me well, it is a 1 piece key with the triangle piano lock looking tip on it verses a 2 key arrangement.
I recall that his looked good and worked even better.

I am in the market for 2 or 3 of these as I want to sell off a nice Palmer soon and I always prefer to sell it with a key.

Mark---I assume that Ian made my gold Palmer Threaded Key...I can't imagine where else I would have gotten it from.

I believe we will know soon enough.
I have never seen one like this in my travels so my guess is that he did not make it but I have no doubt that he certainly could do it.

If I can interpret what you were attempting to write...........No, mine is a "4", not a #2.

This key is one that I bought from Ian over a year ago. It works very well and is nicely made. My cuff is also not a #2. It is a #3.
