Hello,
I would have trouble collecting devices that had actually tortured someone. They have their place in a museum as a teaching tool.
At first when I looked on eBay at all the restraints, I had some problems getting my head straight. Then someone on this site sorted out my rational for collecting handcuffs. They have a legitimate police use. They are helpful to our society. But slavery items have no legitimate use, except again, as teaching tools. I won't put them in my collection because I already am aware that the object was probably used to turn a human being into a piece of property.

The Obvious items are various types of Handcuffs including the "Chain Types" that were outlawed in 172 different countries due to Human Rights issues ! They are absolutely the MOST painful restraints that I have ever tried on or had to wear !
As for the ( 3 ) objects at the bottom of the Display they are just common:
Gynecological instruments ! Vaginal Speculums!
I am an Artist and Collector and this Display will represent "TORTURE DEVICES!"
I can only imagine that the Speculums are a type of Dramatic Torture and ALL restraints are Torturous in my opinion and experiance!
But the pictures are just a Study or Mock - up of what I'm thinking of putting together!
The Nazi S.S Dogtag and Dental equipment that I may include are also considered Torture Devices , at least by me!
