Bren Brno Original Czechoslovakian Made Handcuffs

 Question Amigos:
Are these cuffs particularly "Complicated" to use or is it just me?
The keys can be introduced in more than one manner and at times one side seems to function flawlessly while the other side either requires the use of the other "working" key or it works! The keys have multiple choices of movements within their keyholes but still!
Please advise me if you have the time and or desire !

If there is no mechanical problem, Are they lubricated? Try a bit of grease on the two prongs of the key and then insert and turn. The pawl is probably dry.

I bought a see through set of Cuffs so I might just learn something new and that should help a bit! Can't hurt!
Such excellent condition that oiling them up wasn't a thought!

So the photo is NOT the cuff you bought??? 
If they have been made in a 'see through' cuff, then the function is not factory specifications and alters the working tolerances. 

I personally have no other opinion of the cuff other than it is too modern for my liking.

Yes , the pictures are exactly the cuffs that I bought!
The "Transparent" Trainning Cuffs are Chicago Trainers that I haven't received yet. I agree , I would much prefer to find antique and rare restraints but this Covid B.S has reduced my income by 99.99% ! So I have been forced to do what little I can for now! Plus I am Sranded in BA ! Very few choices available to me! 
Although too Modern I must have a set of Celuso #15 Extra Heavy Cuffs , some Figure 8's and many other Modern Foreign Manufactured cuffs as well as American made Heavy Duty High Security variations ! I,E S&W , et cetera !

You said a cuff didn't work and then suggested it was a see through cuff. Seems that you were talking about two different cuffs. I found it confusing.

If you are wanting to talk about a type, brand or style of cuff, can you not mixed them all into one thread. I saw your posted this cuff in a thread on darby cuffs. Your post will get lost if not on a matching thread title.


Then you finish off with a post about a fire helmet??
Also this is a site about handcuffs and the fire helmet is out of place here.

I fully agree and I sincerely apologize but I'm not very informed concerning forums and their particularities!
The main post was about the trouble with the Bren Brno Cuffs. The Transparent Cuff mentioned was to say that maybe it would trach me a few things and the Antique Helmet was a part of things that I am willing to Trade for interesting cuffs if someone has cuffs for sale.
My items would be very much in your favor in a trade because I can't import them and I am willing to lose money for something that I really want!

A true Neophyte concerning Handcuffs!

 But I am a seasoned Antique Dealer and Collector of various objects. Handcuffs being my latest Hobby. But my specialty is Antique Edged Weapons. Mainly Sabers and Swords made in Prussia , Germany , France and The "Islands." England. Since I was 11 years old!

When and if you have a moment check out "Collectible Vacuum Tubes!" Going up faster than the Stock Market , Gold and Pu44y ! I bought a pair of some "Holy Grail" Audiophile Tubes for $200.00 , they are now over $1,000.00 in a very short time!

I have no contacts to assist with your vacuum tubes, I think Russian still uses them.  Try holding the FOB in one hand and pulling the key and ring away from it.  RE: Texans (Americans of the USA) and Aussies, too very different mindset and ethos.

   THEY ARE DEFINITELY "COMPLICATED!"
And I'm not even going to try these on until I'm certain that they or I can remove them , quickly  and easily!
