#3A fascinating presentation, thanks Ron. I had no idea there were so many processes involved in the production of a pair of cuffs. Surprisingly, the process appears to be very labour-intensive. Intrigued to see that S&W remove the rough edges by rotating the assembled cuffs in a bin full of stones that also polishes them - that's real 19th century stuff - but it works!
A word of advice for S&W if they re-issue this video - make sure that the guy at the beginning and end of the presentation looks as though he knows how to handle a pair of cuffs and how to apply and remove them properly. Chain cuffs should be put on behind the back, palms facing out, keyholes facing away from the hands and, finally, they should be double-locked. Otherwise it's an informative and interesting video.
