#25Can you please post pictures of the Kimball open and closed and from all angles. There has been talk over the years that the Kimball were not in the most perfect condition, though it was never discussed as the visual condition or the operation condition.
As the auction has just finished, did you attend and have brought them home with you? or are you waiting on shipping? Seems very quick out of the blocks to be selling. Do you have a name we can research?

#30$25,000 is a nice hammer price but the fee for the auction house is 40% and that's $10,000 so the estate gets only $15,000. The winner pays $25,000 plus the buyers fee of $7,000 or $32,000 plus shipping and taxes.

#31There are now 2 (two) Kimball being talked about. So there is no confusion and for those who didn't know or didn't clue on, here is what's happening. Back in June 2020 , James Pappaconstantine found a Kimbal cuff and inquired about it at the FB page Handcuff collector group. He wanted to sell to buy camera gear and umm-ed and arrh'ed. over it for ages.
Then , this year, the Tom Gross auction came and went with a Kimball cuff as a part of the collection.
A few days ago (James ?) has imbedded into the thread on the Tom Gross auction that he is ready to sell the kimball. I assumed from my earlier post that this was the Gross auction winner, trying to make money of the resale of a rare item.
I thought someone who wanted to sell there cuff wouldn't put his post into another thread and cause confusion, give his back story of the cuff for all those who were not aware and would have added his actually name and contact inform to establish some trust and integrity.
Then , this year, the Tom Gross auction came and went with a Kimball cuff as a part of the collection.

I'm a seriously interested client! Are they made of solid brass at least? Are they fully functional and basically pick proof And cut-off with a blow torch proof or just "set designed?" No offense intended Pal!

Hello Mc. I don't even take being Serious Seriously so I definitely wouldn't worry about it too much! Never have and I Never will ! However I am confused. I thought that the "Hollywood Cuffs" were or are functional and heavy and maybe 1 of a kind but I still LOVE your work!

The photographs are or were taken at "The George Bush Museum of the Pacific War" in Texas across the street from the "Admiral Nimitz Museum."
My little project was to Convert a 4,800 sq. ft. ABSOLUTELY empty ( ex-grocery store ) ; i , e , 4 Walls , cement floor a tin roof and the Palm trees that are in the pictures were the Supports!
