Not in the greatest of shape...but Early "Tower Bottom-Keyhole Legirons" are always nice to see.

Attica Prison opened in 1931...and it is quite probable that such "antique legirons" were in use there (no "swing-through" legirons yet)...After all, the Los Angeles Sheriff's Transport Detail was still using Marlin-Daley Handcuffs up through the early 1970's.

....but unless there is documentation...anyone (the Seller) can claim anything they want to about these shackles - as to where they were utilized.

btw--Is that some sort of "homemade lockpick" that is sticking out of an apparent barrel key?

The 'pick' will be the key ! the dia of the actually key to far to big to fit. The seller is Trumpspeak' to describe the key, just total BS but people will believe it. LOL

Actually , it could be a SECRET AGENT Cuff PICK - "TOOTHPICK" in disguise! I suppose? It looks like a primitive UNIVERSAL KEY to ME!
You can call the OFFICIAL AUCTION HOUSE AND ASK THEM IF THEY HAVE BEEN "AUTHENTICATED."

"They have not been necessarily "authenticated", but fairly certain that these are the "Real McCoy". No other markings legible due to heavy patina throughout, but
they do have a Patent date stamped on them "Pat'd June 1762".
