Joseph Lorey Handcuffs

Some time ago I came across a pair of Joseph Lorey combination handcuffs and received a ton of information from the members here on the handcuff forum. I just wanted to let you all know that I have decided to sell these but am doing so thru Witherell's auction house in Sacramento, CA. The auction is set for September the 21st. Lot # 38.

I was happy to buy these at the auction. A nice addition to my collection, for sure.
I hope to have these in my hands soon and hope opening these are as memorable as John Bushey described in his write up on the subject.
Maybe a part two of his original study.

I certainly missed out on the Gross cuff on 2 occasions and vowed to myself that this could be the last time to see one.

This cuff is the 5th known Lorie cuff that appeared after John’s study was written.

I hope you were happy with the price it received and while it was a chunk of change for me, I was committed to getting it.

I am very happy that you got these. I have always been of the mind that pieces like these need to go to a home that would not only relish them but take care of them for future collectors. After all we are nothing but curators for the next generation of collectors and researchers. We can't really take them with us although some try! Enjoy them, I did while I had them!!

I will certainly preserve these (and open them) for the next collector in line.
I was on vacation and had trouble logging into my main account.
If you have the time, I would like a little more info about where you found these and other questions that might arise.
