12 years ago this week.

What a GREAT time we had 12 years ago.

I can do the math, but I believe this was the 4th convention ( 3rd in LA) 
I think this was the handcuffs key identification contest as evidenced by Lars with his blindfold.....unless that is a pre-Covid mask.

I think there was at least 3 contests, 1 per year.     
I remember winning one of them and thought I won the Master Padlock picking contest too.
I thought I had the lock opened but the other Mark L. actually did win.
Big surprise that one of two professional locksmiths could win a picking contest.

We each walked away with $100 checks.

One was the Master Padlock Picking contest which was originally American Padlock but the tolerances were too great and nobody could pick them,
Someone had to go to the hardware store and buy some keyed alike locks for part two of the competition.
One was the handcuff key identification (pictured above)
The other contest escapes me.
